2020-21 Supply Lists Pre-K through 12

 

Elementary Supply Lists

Most of the supplies are ordered in bulk and will be distributed within the classroom. Students are only asked to bring in the following items.

Pre-K – Mary Glen Grant

Liquid hand soap, baby wipes, Clorox wipes, backpack, and lunch box

Kindergarten – Deborah Thompson

Large bag plain M&M’s, large box of baby wipes, large bottle of hand sanitizer, one can of Lysol

1st grade – Abby Avritt

One box Kleenex, one bottle of hand sanitizer, one package of disinfectant wipes

2nd grade – Sara Burford

Regular pencils and erasers, Kleenex, liquid hand soap

3rd grade – Jill Steen

1 box Clorox wipes, 1 box Kleenex, 1 hand sanitizer or liquid hand soap

4th grade – Ann Fendley

One package of inexpensive page protectors

 

 

Middle School

English & Spelling- Rebecca Malone

 

1.       Loose leaf paper in a folder or three ring binder OR a notebook with perforated edges – paper with ragged spiral edges will not be accepted.

2.       Pencils – regular or mechanical/ Pens – erasable blue or black ink only

3.       One subject spiral notebook for Daily Language Practice (DLP)

Science – Fran McGraw

1.       One subject spiral notebook with pockets – Mead five star (2 total – one per semester)

2.       Pencils

3.       Colored pencils

8th Grade Homeroom – one box of Kleenex

Social Studies – Elaine Donald

1.       One subject spiral notebook with pockets (2 total – one per semester)

** Mead five star preferred

2.       Regular or mechanical pencils – pens are allowed for notebook work

5th grade homeroom – 1 box Kleenex, 2 inch 3 ring binder, loose-leaf paper, pencil pouch, folders (5) for papers, homework assignment planner

Math – Donna Sims

1.       Pencils

2.       Paper – notebook or loose leaf (your choice)

7th grade homeroom – one bottle hand sanitizer, one package of Clorox wipes

Reading – Anita Stoudenmire

1.       One subject notebook – Mead five star - preferred

2.       Marble composition book for journal

3.       Folder with notebook paper – wide ruled

6th grade homeroom – 2 boxes Kleenex and Clorox wipes

 

High School – If you do not see a list for your teacher/class, he/she does not have any specific requirements other than required textbook/workbook (if applicable), paper, and pencils/pens. 

Supply List for Writing Classes – 11th & 12th Grades -“Miss” Margaret

3 ring binder with loose leaf paper OR spiral notebook

12 count Crayola colored pencils

Journal – Any size or type – Lined or unlined paper. Any notebook, Composition Book, Decorative Journal, etc will be acceptable.

Project Supplies, as needed (poster boards, markers, glue, etc) – You do not need these on the first day of school.  

*Please note – Spanish II will not be offered. All advanced juniors with take Advanced Writing Skills class with “Miss” Margaret. All Seniors will either take Creative Writing or Writing Skills and will need the supplies noted above.

Chemistry - loose leaf paper (1 pack), any size 3 ring binder, 1 folder, and Composition Notebook; scientific calculator, paper towels

Biology - loose leaf paper (1 pack), any size 3 ring binder, 1 folder, and Composition Notebook (for biology only); 24 count colored pencils with pencil pouch; large gloves or paper towels

Health - loose leaf paper (1 pack), any size 3 ring binder, 1 folder, and Composition Notebook (for health only)

Physical Science - loose leaf paper (1 pack), any size 3 ring binder, 1 folder, and Composition Notebook; Paper Towels and/or disinfectant all purpose spray for countertops/tables

**I am also in need of Alcohol prep pads (70-75% isopropyl alcohol) to clean Chromebooks. I have ordered some but I need a large amount in order to clean before and after each use. This is proving quite expensive. If you are able to provide a box in addition to your other supplies, it will be greatly appreciated. THANKS so much and I look forward to a great year.

All supplies will be needed the first day of school, Wednesday, August 12.

No work will ever be accepted in ink or colored pencils (except for drawings)

Please note that reinforced loose-leaf paper is best - but paper "Band-Aid" may also be used to keep paper from tearing out of binders.

All supplies are expected in class on the first day of school. There will be a supply check for a grade.
